Split articles
[edit]Is there any reason why this article and its Republican counterpart are separate articles? Deposuit (talk) 18:11, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- There is currently an ongoing discussion to merge both articles at Talk:Republican response to the State of the Union address#Merge discussion. Zzyzx11 (talk) 06:01, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
- Looks like the merge was performed at around 04:20, 21 January 2015. This page was moved from Democratic response to the State of the Union address to Response to the State of the Union address, and the Republican counterpart page was merged into it. The discussion still remains at the same link. Zzyzx11 (talk) 05:26, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
Tea party
[edit]In the list of responses, we should only indicate if the rebuttal was delivered by a Democrat, Republican, or Independent. It's weird including a dozen labels like tea party, working families, congressional black caucus, problem solvers caucus etc etc. That's actually too much detail, and is distracting.
