Name?

[edit]

The transliteration of Rhie into English is normally Lee. Should we change that to Lee Won-bok or keep it. His book is marketed in English as Rhie. Someone experienced with Korean family names please help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Singularity Rider (talkcontribs) 10:13, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You are right. It is normally transliterated as Lee; however, there are many historical figures who have used other spellings like "Rhee" and "Yi" for the same "이" surname in Korean. So, I think that having a redirection of Lee Won-bok is good, but the proper title of this page should remain Rhie because that's what he goes by.

Racism and Antisemitism

[edit]

I came to this page to find out more about the contents of his writings, which, if you look them up, are extremely racist and have ridiculous generalizations. If anyone could add this, I think it would be an interesting bit of information about Korean culture because I've asked some of my Korean friends here in Korea, and they've said that this guy is very famous in Korea. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.36.81.85 (talk) 12:38, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
