speculation?

[edit]

Richard Moore (comic book creator) currently includes "Moore's use of these talking animals has decreased dramatically in recent years, perhaps due to the rising negative stereotypes associated with Furry Fandom." That bit sound a bit too speculative and (in my opinion) doesn't jive with http://www.richardmooreart.com/Richard.html which includes "While many of Rick's characters ARE anthorpomorphic animals, that can be leveled more to the fact that he and Jackie seem to think that animals are more decent people than, well... people actually! If you notice, there are lots of humans in Rick's stories. More humans than talking animals, really. But since he feels so close to animals he likes placing them as 'people' in his books. And usually it's the people with tails who are the better adjusted. So, no even though the books are not what could be described as 'furry', we welcome fans of anthropomorphic books." --EarthFurst 06:44, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Rick's web page is a bit more diplomatic than the factual issues placed on wikipedia. While there is no speculation in that sentence there is an attitudinal difference between it and the explanation on the web site. I'm trying not to be too specific here, but if you put the two ideas together in a paragraph, you'll get the point. --SiPFan 19:44, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Apparently this webcomic should have started in 2006, but I can't seem to Google it. Anyone got a link? --Mister Six 10:46, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

www.richardmooreart.com

[edit]

I removed all references to http://www.richardmooreart.com/Richard.html which links to some random commercial link site. This means a lot of information on this page is now without references. If somebody can remedy this it would be quite usefull. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BlackJackFP (talkcontribs) 18:56, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
