Obscure references
[edit]<ref>http://townindex.info/sites/tunbridgewells/places_of_interest/index.html</ref> Seems to me like commercial spam- it has 0.01% relevance to the article, it just contains 5 relevant words hidden in text. Better would be http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm199899/cmselect/cmenvtra/477/477mem24.htm I am making the switch. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ClemRutter (talk • contribs) 22:14, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
The Swale

Pronunciation
[edit]The article gives pronunciation guidance for both the Teise and the Beult, and in particular gives two competing ways to pronouce "Teise" as "tice or teeze". Has anybody got a reference for any of those please? Some around my neck of the woods call it the "Tiser" (as in a germanic spelling)... p.r.newman (talk) 14:30, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
