Names of the four sculptures[edit]

The format of the names of the four sculptures doesn't look correct (this one and George Rogers Clark Sculpture, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark Sculpture, and Thomas Jonathan Jackson Sculpture). If "Sculpture" is part of the name, shouldn't it be italicised too? If it is not part of the name, shouldn't "sculpture" be uncapitalized and in parentheses, and the article title be "Robert Edward Lee (sculpture)", like Sam Houston (sculpture), for example. was gonna say why not Robert Edward Lee sculpture. Does more than one exist? ScratchMarshall (talk) 22:06, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Probably, but no more than one notable one. Either of those ideas seems better to me than the current style. Leaning toward parentheticals, a sculpture titled Robert Edward Lee. InedibleHulk (talk) 22:33, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, these pages should probably be renamed. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:36, 16 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I WP:BOLDly renamed the four, but I realized about half way through they were probably named from the NRHP listing. This is reasonable, but the listing themselves often fall short of common sense, such as Meriwether Lewis and William Clark (sculpture) being listed as "Lewis, Meriwether and William Clark, Sculpture". I do not think anybody would find a title like that intuitive of helpful, so I think the more common-sense, and Wikipedia-typical pattern of [Artwork-name (parenthetical-disambiguation)] is preferable. Correction needed to map coordinate[edit]

I don't know how to contribute correctly to the actual page - but the coordinates shown in the main article are for the wrong statue - they are the location of the Thomas Jackson statue in Justice Park, rather than the Robert E Lee statue in Emancipation Park. The correct coordinates according to Google Earth are: 38°01'54N 78°28'49W 86.133.193.26 (talk) 18:48, 13 August 2017 (UTC) Nick Sharratt[reply]

Reads as an incomplete article[edit]

For example the sentence "because of what that statue and the name of that park represents" would make sense to be followed by "referring to ..." where "..." would explain what these people said the statue represents and why (what historical events, was it that Robery E. Lee opposed racial equality as is on his wikipedia page? Was it that he owned slaves and if so was it relevant that the Robert E. Lee wikipedia page says that he was philosophically opposed to slavery?). Currently this information is not provided which means the reader is assumed to know background information not provided here which is not encyclopedic. 31.20.106.40 (talk) 06:02, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
