Acceptance Note

[edit]

In my opinion, anyone who is well-documented from the nineteenth or an earlier century is sufficiently notable for an article. Robert McClenon (talk) 18:49, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Personal life

[edit]

Thai sources[1][2] indicate that he married Lady Sap (ทรัพย์, Christian name Angelina, born 1805), a fourth-generation descendent of Constantine Phaulkon, in 1825. He lived Kudi Chin community, initially owning a large floating house and later building a Western-style building on land. His emporium was well known among the populace. F.A. Neale describes his residence and the neighbourhood in detail.

PS Said Thai sources appear to trace back to Moore's article from the Journal of the Siam Society, already cited in the article. --Paul_012 (talk) 01:31, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Added in these details to the article. Do you think it merits putting in a separate personal life section? StringRay (talk) 16:03, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Currently seems fine to me. Could be split if more content is added. --Paul_012 (talk) 13:23, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Map

[edit]

I don't read french, but I can't seem to find any troop movements depicted in File:Siamese-Vietnamese War (1841–45).jpg. Is there something I'm missing? --Paul_012 (talk) 20:31, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
