Created by Ffranc (talk). Self-nominated at 08:29, 16 June 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Robert Steuckers; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.[reply]

  • Hook is cited and in the article. I think it would probably sound quite contrarian to a lot of people at first glance given the history between France and Germany. No plagiarism or issues with neutrality. It was nominated on time.Llewee (talk) 13:03, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think this hook treats Steuckers and the French New Right as quirky weirdos, which maybe they are, but they're also terrible people. Maybe that's the fault of the DYK format rather than the nominator but I think it's worth saying. In terms of practical feedback, it would be useful to have some description of who Steuckers is--"Belgian far-right political activist Robert Steuckers is critical..." or something like that.Prezbo (talk) 12:18, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Fine by me, I added it as an alt. Ffranc (talk) 12:39, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
