Last name[edit]

Earl records, such as his Medal or Honor Citation, spell his name Emmet, but his gravestone spells it Emmett. — Rlevse • Talk • 14:55, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Military service[edit]

I believe he is the same Robert Temple Emmet who was a major in the 1st New York Volunteer Infantry in the Spanish-American War,^[1] but I can't prove it for certain.Peter Flass (talk) 23:56, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
