Wasn't there a spinoff using boxing kangaroos? 18.104.22.168 21:17, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
...no, it isn't.
"In the Pixar animation film sequel Toy Story 2, the main toys are searching in 'Al's office' in 'Al's Toy Barn' for Woody. A character, Slinky Dog, comes across a set of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots and asks them if they had seen Woody(Slinky describes Woody as 'a cowboy doll with a bad arm'), only for the two to argue about who was being asked, and fight, with the blue one defeating the red one. This is also a reference to the infamous Tyson-Holyfield fight, where Mike Tyson bit off part of Evander Holyfield's ear."
I'm gonna go ahead and delete that last sentence. I don't believe it, it's uncited, and I've never seen that claim elsewhere. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Th900bbepr (talk • contribs) 21:51, 29 October 2007 (UTC) HAHA —Preceding unsigned comment added by 22.214.171.124 (talk) 20:33, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
Origins of game
I just took a reference out of the article about the game being based on the short story "Steel" by Richard Matheson. While the publication date of May 1956 does precede the manufacturing of the toy, there was no reference given and I can find none to substantiate the statement, so I'm taking it out until someone else can prove otherwise.
