Fake citations
[edit]The book by Manetti, Minucci, Giotto (1988). La città di Grosseto e i suoi vescovi (498-1988) [The city of Grosseto and its bishops (498-1988)]. Florence: Lucio Pugliese.[page needed] is cited some 20 times in the article, without any page number(s). It looks like this is just filler, to make it seem as though the article is extensively referenced. I have moved the book citation to the bibliography, and intend to remove the fake references to it, each of which ought to have a page number attached, in the article.

- Actually, it's not fake. That book includes biographies of all the bishops in the list, from the beginning to 1988, so I think it's a good reference. If you want to add the page numbers for every bishop, you can find them in the Italian Wikipedia. See Diocesi di Grosseto: Roland (pages 200-209); Martino (p. 210); Gualfredo (pp. 210-216); Azzo and Ermanno (p. 216); Pepo (p. 217); Azio I (p. 218), Ugo di Ugurgeri (pp. 218-219) and so on.--Alienautic (talk) 17:17, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
- I did not suggest that the book was a fake, but that the citations were fake, being extensive and without page numbers. Are you sure that the page numbers are correct? It is so easy to recommend to others that they should do something. As I'm sure you are aware, if you add the page numbers, you have to change the style and content of each one of the references, of which there are 28. --Vicedomino (talk) 07:26, 29 November 2019 (UTC)
