Afropop
[edit]Stanleytux I reverted your edit because "Afropop" does not refer to a specific style or sound, but is used as a general term for African popular music. The warning you left on OluwaCurtis's talk page is inappropriate because nothing seemed to be wrong with their edits. Wikic¤l¤gyt@lk to M£ 17:47, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
- Exactly, Afropop is not a specific style or sound and definitely not a music genre. It therefore does not belong in the genre parameter of an infobox. If the creator of the article must add it he or she must have to provide reliable sources per policy. I will revert back your edit because your reasons for reverting mines are pointless. Stanleytux (talk) 20:43, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
- since it's not a genre of music as you claimed, it is pointless to advice the editor to add sources. Your advice seemed to be unhelpful. I will allow your edit to stay for two reasons; (1) Afropop is not a genre of music (2) I don't like edit warring. Wikic¤l¤gyt@lk to M£ 21:12, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
- The advice was only given based on our policies here, specifically around WP:V, WP:OR and WP:NPOV. In case the author reads this discussion, they need to check out this wiki essay on Genre warring to get enlightened more on this issue. Stanleytux (talk) 22:02, 19 August 2015 (UTC)

Copyright violation concerns
[edit]Greetings @Oluwa2Chainz:. I ran Earwig's Copyright violation Detector and the result is quite alarming. The article needs to be re-written immediately. It looks like most of the article's content was copied directly from Runtown's profile page at NotJustOK. I think you need to avoid close paraphrasing when writing articles. - This article was created when I was a newbie (2nd article precisely), I'll find a way to solve the issue. Thank you. --—Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 11:28, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
Edit I made
[edit]I corrected the age for Runtown, added more artistes he has worked it since the page was last edited. I edited the record label he is signed to because his contract with Eric Many has expired. I updated his bio by adding more relevant information and removing outdated and in accurate information that was copy & pasted from 'notjustok'. I already added more wards he has been nominated for and won.
I have one more problem tho. The google overview says he is partnered to Selenah Leath, this is inaccurate and I would love to change that.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jsparrowmedia (talk • contribs) 11:47, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
