Scott is Scotty??
[edit]The OC register says "Scott McKnight" not Scotty. Needs more proof this is actually the same person.--Anen87 (talk) 06:50, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
- Many of the sports website have listed his name this way including the NFL's official website, His Colorado biography, ESPN and the list goes on. When I do a Google search under "Scott McKnight" the results that come up for him are limited, maybe one or two that are actually the wide receiver, whereas when you search "Scotty McKnight" a host of results can be found. This is the same person. -- The Writer 2.0 Talk 12:38, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
Moved to talk - needs better sourcing
[edit]McKnight was born in Newport Beach, California on February 11, 1988. During his senior year at Tesoro High School, McKnight was nearly expelled after writing in a private journal entry for a class assignment that contained alleged death threats directed towards his young, female teacher.[1] McKnight did not deny the journal and conceded the entry was a lapse in judgement but, he did state that the matter was a misunderstanding.[1] The school suspended McKnight indefinitely while an investigation was conducted and he missed the football team's final eight games of the season.[1]
