Bellingham protestor
[edit]The same person who chained herself to the barge in Bellingham was up a tree protesting a Bainbridge Island development in 2014: [1][2]. Also, she is identified as a Western Washington University student. This may be relevant to the article. Brianhe (talk) 06:34, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
Kayaktivists
[edit]The term kayaktivists has been used before this, in Battery Park City Ferry Terminal and Freedom Flotilla II. It appears that the Seattle events served to give it widespread exposre. It's use in these previous stories didn't quite catch fire:
