Début and carreer: some errors noticed

1) the pupils concert took place on 25 (not 23) March 1895 (jfr. Desi Halban's book p. 35). 2) It is true that Kurz was engaged by Pollini in Hamburg for a while, but somehow she managed to delete the contract. She never appeared in Hamburg, and certainly not 12 May 1895. On this very day Gustav Mahler conducted Tannhäuser at the Hamburg Opera. Kurz was engaged by the Frankfurt Opera and made he début there on 19 September 1896 as Elisabeth in Tannhäuser (jfr. her daugther'ss biography, p. 46). 3) For Kurz' roles at the Vienna Hofoper, please see the listing in A. & O. Láng's book "Chronik der Wiener Staatsoper 1869-2009", vol 2, p. 180 (Löcker Verlag 2009) She never sang "Elsa in Lohengrin. 13:05, 16 January 2021 (UTC)85.81.37.5 (talk)

Some more mistakes are noticed in this article

"Little Selma was thus enabled to visit the imposing Schloss Totis, the Viennese residence, en villéggiature, of the famous patron of the arts count Nicholas (Miklós) Esterházy de Galántha, who agreed to pay for her lessons with another prominent vocal pedagogue, Johannes Ress."

Maybe I am an ignorant person, but the meaning of the word en villéggiature is unknown to me. Never mind. - Much worse is however that the "Schloss Totis" was not the Viennese residence of Count Esterhazy, since it is/was located about 70 km. northwest of Budapest. In 1888 the count built a small theatre (200 seats) in which he gave private opera and operetta performances. (Gustav Mahler visited it in November 1889). The theater was demolished in 1913.

Incidentally, the reference to Count Nicholas Esterházy is incorrect too:

The correct name should be Count Miklós (Nicolaus Paul) Pál Count Esterházy de Galántha (1839-1897). (Also to be found on Wikipedia). 85.81.37.5 (talk) 18:48, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
