3 tracks?[edit]

In fact, the line does NOT have 3 tracks! It is a double track railway with passing loops at some stations to allow operation of express trains (3 pairs per hour). Correct. I rode on it last week, and it in fact has two tracks, with occasional stations having four tracks (for express trains to pass by all-station trains). That the line has three tracks one can read even in the learned "Railway Gazette International". A diabolic mistake indeed! But also an effective incentive for railway fans to go and visit Seoul. Line color[edit]

I was thinking white or silver/gray, as pretty much everything else is in use or would be too similar to the existing colors on some of the maps (eg red/orange). --JackSeoul 03:54, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

station names[edit]

Many of these stations listed are already operating with other lines chief among them Gangnam sation and Jamsil, etc. But also Mok-Dong and other lesser visted stops. There are two options here. Either these are working titles for stops that will be built at another corner of the same dong and therefore not connect, or they are connecting to the existing stations. If they are connecting to the existing stations, then I suggest that we write down their transfers and link the stations. DaronDierkes (talk) 06:45, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Possible vandalism?[edit]

Some anonymous editor has written that Line 9 has already opened (which it clearly has not), and made a few other edits to include some nongrammatical and/or ambiguous phrasing. I'd like to say that they should provide a source saying that Line 9 actually did open on May 30th, but if you actually go to one of the stations it's extremely obvious that it hasn't opened yet (but then, I guess going to the station myself to verify that it hasn't opened would be original research). Yeah, I originally heard that it would be opened on May 29th. Apparently there have been a few setbacks but as far as I know they've been entirely silent on exactly what kind of problems there were. I heard that Line 9 will open june 12, 2009. the delay had to do with the signaling for the express rails. there was also talk of a rate increase, but for political reasons, that is being held off till after the seoul mayoral elections. 220.76.15.122 (talk) 17:49, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Recent vandalism[edit]

Hello.

It appears to my concern that someone has vandalised the article "Seoul Subway Line 9". Is it fine if someone can take a look into this please as this is quite severe vandalism.
