Untitled[edit]

The photo of Wotton church should be removed. It's miles away. Was also in the TV series about Mary Whitehouse, and a Granada 80s series...Jewel in the Crown perhaps. Recently in the press because of issues with the local C of E vicar and his disputes with parishoners.

Someone should add the story of the lady who was walled up in the church!!! And there is a great anecdote about the bloke who leans out of his window at 2:00 in the morning because there is some bird smoking a fag on his garden wall. "Oi, you, bugger off" only to find it was....Cameron Diaz..... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.161.13.57 (talk) 15:21, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

The use of the word recent says it all about parochial controversies, they should generally be avoided especially if about a popular or unpopular style of someone doing their business (WP:NOT refers). As to the last comment, a reasonable published source is need to meet WP:V and again whether it is notable in a global encyclopedia, assuming your hearsay account is true, is sadly dubious, and is understandably star-struck as well as tangential — that could be any star in any rural village in England. - Adam37 Talk 21:44, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
