Bot-created subpage

[edit]

A temporary subpage at User:Polbot/fjc/Shira A. Scheindlin was automatically created by a perl script, based on this article at the Biographical Directory of Federal Judges. The subpage should either be merged into this article, or moved and disambiguated. Polbot (talk) 20:16, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Relation to "Judge Judy" much asked on question sites

[edit]

Not a trivial point. No relation. Otherwise, since Judge Judy's husband is also a top judge, one small family would wield an extraordinary influence over NYC through the courts, armed with Judy's celebrity and millions, to boot. Profhum (talk) 19:56, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Was there a question here? Or a statement? It's not at all clear what you're talking about. Presumably this has something to do with the fact that Judge Judy's last name is "Sheindlin" and SAS's last name is "Scheindlin" but they're not the same name. Are you suggesting this should be mentioned in the article? (Ideally comments on a talk page should stand on their own and not require a crystal ball or additional research to understand.) jhawkinson (talk) 20:09, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Birthdate?

[edit]

Isn't it strange that Wikipedia doesn't have Judge Sheindlin's birthdate? I found a NY post article noting that John Gotti starting singing Happy Birthday to the judge during his trial on August 16 -- https://nypost.com/2006/08/17/junior-sings-soprano-serenades-judge-with-happy-bday/ Is that reliable enough to conclude that her birthday is actually on August 16? — Preceding unsigned comment added by KJKAtLaw (talkcontribs) 16:45, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
