Fair use rationale for Image:Sidhe logo small.gif

Image:Sidhe logo small.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 11:35, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Requested move

The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the proposal was consensus against move.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 03:37, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Sidhe InteractiveSidhe – The company has changed it's name to just Sidhe. I'd like to move the page to Sidhe, but it currently is a redirect. When the page is moved, it's intended that the other sidhe would be referenced in the opening for those who are not looking for the Company Sidhe. --Chopper Dave (talk) 06:02, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

  • Oppose. Virtually no one will know of this company. Many will know the Sidhe (Irish elves). Flamarande (talk) 11:20, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
  • Oppose that redirect doesn't even point here! The type of elf is the correct target. 76.66.195.206 (talk) 03:36, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
  • Comment I think there is some confusion. There is Sidhe the elf, which Sidhe currently redirects to, and there is Sidhe the videogame company, currently incorrectly called Sidhe Interactive on wiki. As I say above, my proposal is to move Sidhe Interactive to Sidhe, and have a "If you're looking for the Sidhe elf, see Aos Sí" style link in the opening of the article. This certainly isn't unheard of in Wikipedia. Alternatively, we could have a Sidhe disambiguation page, which links to both, but with only two "Sidhe"'s, it doesn't seem necessary. I'm open to other solutions, but "Oppose" alone isn't constructive in fixing the original problem. Chopper Dave (talk) 08:17, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Look, I'm not changing my vote. However I would be in favour of a move towards 'Sidhe (video game company)' or something similar. A sentence "If you're looking for the video game company, see 'Sidhe (video game company)'" can be included in the Aos Sí-article. Either way the majority of users are looking for the elf when they type "Sidhe" and this is what they should get. Flamarande (talk) 09:24, 25 October 2009 (UTC) PS: A disambiguation page is plain overkill with only two subjects.
The above discussion is preserved as an archive of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

Move

On the basis of the above discussion, I consider that there's sufficient consensus for the article to be moved to a more accurate title - I've therefore moved it to Sidhe (game developer). Tevildo (talk) 15:24, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Sidhe (game developer). Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
