Requested move[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: page moved. In doing the cleanup, I noticed that there was another scandal in 1914. Is that the primary topic? If not, then both of these should use the same format for their names. Something to consider for the editors involved. Vegaswikian (talk) 19:12, 9 July 2011 (UTC)

2008 Siemens alleged scandal in Greece2008 Siemens scandal – "Alleged scandal" is POV, it has been proven both by the Greek and German courts that the scandal did take place and that people were indeed bribed by Siemens so that the company could get contracts. --Philly boy92 (talk) 01:56, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

  • Support. A scandal is not the crime itself, but the public reaction to it (whether or not the accusation is true). You wouldn't say "alleged controversy". —Tamfang (talk) 03:12, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
  • Comment. Your proposed title is a bit vague. How about 'Siemens scandal in Greece' or something similar ? Flamarande (talk) 15:44, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
