Whitewave Foods

[edit]

I remember White Wave, but can we document this with 2 reliable 3rd party citations? MaynardClark (talk) 12:57, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy

[edit]

Sourcing of its chocolate was a reason for an oppositional organizing campaign. Covering 'controversy' as a topic maybe ought to include more of the political and other controversies Silk has faced over its years in production. MaynardClark (talk) 13:07, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Competition

[edit]

Did Silk's early successes (help to) generate aggressive competition in plantmilks? How did WhiteWave Foods respond to that competition? MaynardClark (talk) 13:07, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Clever source of name 'Silk'

[edit]

Isn't 'silk' an amalgam of Soy+mILK? Surely it is NOT an allusion to the spinnings of spiders (except as a 'soft' food that is easy to 'touch' or swallow). MaynardClark (talk) 13:07, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

disambiguation

[edit]

Soy Silk currently redirects here automatically. Shouldn't there be some kind of disambiguation page, considering that Soy Silk is an actual fibrous material and not just a drink?
