Updating

[edit]

Have begun updating this article, with an emphasis on the work of the TAC founders and adding citations. Would like to replace the current photo which is of the recent house with one of the original houses. Moved sentence about the name coming from Moon cars further down in the article. The article is now much improved since 2005, when it was proposed for deletion. The ample footnotes establish notability and verifiabilty, and the overall tone strikes a neutral balance between adulation and disparagement. Reify-tech (talk) 21:02, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for noticing and for your cleanup and improvement efforts Reify-tech! They are appreciated and helping me learn the ropes. This was the first article I tried to improve and I am working on similar articles now about some of the people cited and some similar neighborhoods (including the first I started from scratch myself about the Turning Mill/Middle Ridge neighborhood). There is a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia, but you seem to be making an excellent start. Collaborative editing work involves interaction with other editors, as well as individual initiative. You may occasionally run into brusque editors who delete or revert edits with little or no explanation. The best way to respond is to follow any clues about the alleged offense (if available), and go to the corresponding Talkpage to discuss the issue with other interested editors.
I look forward to seeing your ongoing work. We have some overlapping interests, so we will probably encounter each other in the future. Reify-tech (talk) 18:40, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your reply @Reify-tech. I collaboratively edit elsewhere, so used to the give-and-take. I checked out your user page and what you are doing is something to aspire to! Appreciate your mentoring, and hope to see you out and about.Fothergilla (talk) 12:03, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
