The article for MY Le Ponant says "It was built 1991 by the SFCN shipyard in France". I can't find any real mention of that shipyard. Obviously this company was closed by then, but could Le Ponant have been built at this company's former yard, and the name somehow been misconstrued? -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk11:35, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, super, thank you. I see the Villeneuve-la-Garenne article lists two shipyards, including "Chantier de la Société Française de Construction navale" (where I believe chantier just means "worksite"). Unfortunately the FR wikipedia doesn't have anything (either under SFCN or variants, or the article for Villeneuve-la-Garenne. -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk15:20, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
