Somerley a Civil Parish?
[edit]What evidence is there that Somerley is a civil parish? I'm looking at the 1:25000 Ordnance Survey map of the New Forest right now. And Somerley seems to consist of one large house set in some grounds called Somerley park. I can see Ringwood civil parish to the southeast, Ellingham, Harbridge and Ibsley civil parish to the east, Verwood civil parish to the west, and Alderholt civil parish to the north. - Well I decided to do the legwork and find out what Somerley actually is. Turns out it's a stately home with extensive grounds. As for the actual parish it might be in, I'm assuming it's in the parish of "Ellingham, Harbridge and Ibsley", since Ellingham is just up the road. Singinglemon (talk) 01:34, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

- The notability is not really in question, but the article needs to be expanded with secondary sources to support the facts being stated. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 17:51, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
