Article inaccuracy[edit]

This article is incorrect. This game was originally released to arcades (hence the "Arcade" part of the name) in 1994 by Sega. The 32X port based on this arcade game was released soon afterward. The game's arcade run seems to be largely overlooked and the 32X version seems to be the version most people remember. Starwars.com's own Cargo Bay section doesn't even list the arcade game.

This game doesn't seem to be an updated version of Atari's Star Wars title. The objective in the Sega title is to shoot all the the opposing spacecrafts, which is only optional in the Atari game.

This article should probably mention all of these things and should be moved to another article title. The new article title should either be Star Wars Arcade, the title of the 32X port (which is also commonly used to refer to the arcade version as well) which is a redirect to the article on the Atari title right now or Star Wars (1994 video game) - since the arcade game is only called Star Wars. Star Wars Arcade is probably better so the parenthesises don't have to be used in the title for diambiguation. --Jtalledo (talk) 21:56, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, all I did was start the article to disambiguate it. I suggest being bold. -th1rt3en 08:07, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
lol Will do. Thanks for creating the article.  ;) --Jtalledo (talk) 12:27, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
