Add the extension Steven Adams signed, using this source https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/steven-adams-gets-two-year-35-million-contract-extension-as-part-of-trade-to-pelicans-per-report/, under the "New Orleans Pelicans (2020-present)" section.  Not done. Source is based on a tweet from "sources" to an ESPN guy and therefore not reliable. Wait for more details; see WP:SPORTSTRANS.  Ganbaruby! (Say hi!) 12:06, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Memphis Trade

[edit]

In a recent trade, Steven Adams was sent to Memphis. Someone edit this! Bigbucks10000 (talk) 02:30, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As already said, WP:SPORTSTRANS stipulates we do not update the article until all parties involved officially confirm the transaction has gone through. There is always a possibility that the trade falls apart. ZappaMatic 04:13, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Change within "Early Life", the sentence " Two of his half-sisters are athletes: Valerie Adams is a dual Olympic gold medallist and four-time world champion shot-putter[2] and Lisa Adams is a para athlete who has won gold at the Paralympics in shot-put." to "Two of his sisters are athletes: Valerie Adams is a dual Olympic gold medallist and four-time world champion shot-putter[2] and Lisa Adams is a para athlete who has won gold at the Paralympics in shot-put.". As Valarie, Lisa and Steven have the same mother and father and are therefore not half-siblings as stated in the page. This can be verified by a quick Google search of Steven, Valarie or Lisa's mother and father or by Valerie and Lisa Adams in this video https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSJc58m8s/ Which is a verified account of Valarie Adams.  Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Her older sister Valerie Adams won gold in shot put at the Olympic Games in 2008 and 2012, and silver in 2016. She has also won multiple world titles. Her younger half-brother Steven is a professional basketball player [1] and Valerie, who has the same father as Steven Adams but a different mother, won her second gold medal at the London Olympics this summer. [2] say otherwise. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 11:10, 31 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia

[edit]

@Debbie.440937: seeing as you're choosing to ignore BRD, I'll start the discussion for you. Why would anybody (besides you) care that an NBA player has stated he's a fan of a random singer that the overwhelming majority of visitors to this article will have no idea who she is? It's not in any way, shape or form a significant aspect of his life. It's unencyclopaedic trivia. – 2.O.Boxing 11:21, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
