Hospice section reads like an advertisement

[edit]

That's it... it just sounds like a marketing person for the organization wrote it. Says how great the quality of care is, talks about generic hospice philosophy... could have been copied and pasted from a promotional brochure.

Conflict of interest

[edit]

The following anonymous editor - 198.89.65.85 - is owned by stewart healthcare. Please be on the lookout for conflict of interest postings to this artice or other stewart related articles from this IP or other anon IP's. -Tracer9999 (talk) 19:59, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest

[edit]

The user shcare2 is obviously an account by Steward Health Care. After posting some accurate information which they did not like, they removed my edit. The whole page sounds like an advert! Admins do something about it. Andvass (talk) 06:50, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Big overhaul

[edit]

Currently working on overhauling this page. I think most of the conflict-of-interest content is now taken care of (though the page is still subject to occasional suspect edits). My focus has been mostly on Massachusetts in light of the recent issues there, however I look forward to expanding upon their operations in other states and countries soon. Planning on improving citations as well, and want to rework the table in the "hospitals" section too. Mangocove (talk) 00:20, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Next up is citations. Going to go through and make sure all references are accessible, archived, and formatted properly, including my own. Mangocove (talk) 17:37, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Malta

[edit]

The Malta ordeal is a whopper, and it is difficult for me as someone unfamiliar with financial administration to comb through and understand the deluge of information from all sides. Steward sometime in the past month appears to have taken down their English-language International site, however I just discovered archives of web pages they authored in their defense. Would be worth going through if someone can understand it. https://web.archive.org/web/20240228093307/https://www.stewardinternational.org/steward-malta-financials/ Mangocove (talk) 19:49, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pre-Steward section

[edit]

Much of this section should be moved to Caritas Christi Health Care, which is a start class and very incomplete. Catfurball (talk) 17:23, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I tried to include just enough info in that section to provide context for Steward's creation. Expanding the Caritas article is also on my to-do list, I'm collecting references over time for an expansion of that one. Mangocove (talk) 17:57, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mistake

[edit]

@Mangocove: Oops you made a mistake, oh well, we all do that sometimes when we edit. Catfurball (talk) 23:42, 6 August 2024 (UTC) This article still has a Cite error at the bottom of the page that says NPR_210927, if it is not fixed by someone, the good article request will be rejected. Catfurball (talk) 23:23, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for pointing that out! I just fixed it. Mangocove (talk) 23:33, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Steward Health Care SystemSteward Health Care – The website of this hospital network does not use system in its name. And another reason for the change, all of the articles that I have looked at due not use system either. Catfurball (talk) 16:45, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I fully support this. Throughout my extensive research into this company, "System" is seldom used at the end except when the writer is using it as a clarifier. Mangocove (talk) 18:08, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Mangocove: You forgot to add this important information to the article. Catfurball (talk) 16:47, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I'll be adding that soon Mangocove (talk) 17:31, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And done! Thank you again. Mangocove (talk) 22:04, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
