The result of the move request was: Not moved (non-admin closure)  — Amakuru (talk) 10:25, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Studio B Productions → ? – It has been years since the Studio B name has gone into history as all of DHX Media's divisions were rebranded under one name. The studio is credited as "DHX Media/Vancouver" in closing credits, but its website uses "DHX Vancouver" and the "Vancouver studio of DHX Media". What should be this article's new title? DHX Media/Vancouver? DHX Vancouver? DHX Media, Vancouver studio (either with or without comma)? DHX Media Vancouver animation studio? Or even Vancouver studio, DHX Media? • Oppose: At the time the company was acquired, this was its name. AFAIK we don't rename articles on defunct companies after the fact (point me to some counterexamples and I may change my opinion). Furthermore, Wikipedia is WP:NOTPROMOTION – it is (again, AFAIK) not obligated to follow corporate moves of this type. The Studio B name is well-known, while the proposed name sounds like a recipe for confusion if used as the article title. (Additionally, every single one of DHX's acquisitions has kept its own page under its old name, at least of those listed here: WildBrain, Cookie Jar Group, Ragdoll Productions, Epitome Pictures, and Nerd Corps Entertainment. I realize that this last point is a WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS argument, but WP:IAR: even a broken clock is right twice a day and all that.) Mdrnpndr (talk) 15:45, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • Additional comment: It appears that all of the proposed names would be entirely unsourced (!) because all of the relevant references clearly state that the studio, like the others included in the name change, was in fact rebranded to simply "DHX Media". Unless someone finds a reliable source that states otherwise I'm now suggesting a speedy close. Mdrnpndr (talk) 13:47, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment MOS:SLASH/WP:SUBPAGE -- avoid slashes when possible, they cause problems. It certainly is possible to avoid a slash in this instance. -- 70.51.200.101 (talk) 04:19, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Commissioned Works.

[edit]

Someone's been messing with the Commissioned Works section by removing two shows Studio B actually provided the animation on. — FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 02:31, 30 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The IP user whose been messing with the page clearly never paid attention to the credits at all while all of us have. Not only did the user removed Braceface and Timon & Pumbaa from the list, he/she deliberately removed some true info from these lists and is refusing to place an objection on this talk page as instructed. — FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 13:43, 30 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Citations needed for all rename claims

[edit]

Attention editors: if you claim that this studio has been renamed to something else, you MUST provide a citation confirming the claimed rename to the exact name specified! (This means you, User:CR85747, and you too, User:189.122.83.96, probably along with a number of other editors.) Mdrnpndr (talk) 13:25, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

US-Russian Relation

[edit]

An unregistered user added off-topic content about the relation between the US and Russia to this page. Fortunately, I removed it. Pray it never happens again. - FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 09:25, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
