A word from the original contributor
[edit]Please indicate any omission or mistake in editing of this article. Moreover readers are welcome to discuss on the subject or any content therein. It is requested that every reader is welcome to contribute the article given that it is a healthy contribution and positive one. From: Sajjad balghari
- Salaam Sajjad-ji, and thank you for starting this article. The first thing that I notice is the third paragraph under "history," which invites doubting readers to ascertain for themselves M. Nurbakhsh's bona fides. I'm afraid this is not "NPOV" (neutral point-of-view). That is, the Wikipedia article should take no sides on what is obviously a matter of opinion. I mean no disrespect to your founder or sect, which I know little about (and would like to learn more). It's just a matter of tone.
- Beyond that, I would like to see more specific information about (a) M. Nurbaksh himself, his life and teachings, (b) the history and location of Nurbakshi groups today (e.g., Kargil), including the Shi'a / independent split you mentioned, (c) any distinctive teachings and practices associated with the sect (what makes you different from all the other Muslim groups?). Sources are especially important--I know of one recent study in English, but sources may be in any language, so long as they are reliable. For example, information about the life of M. Nurbaksh should be footnoted with the sources of this information. (If these are in Persian or Urdu, then a good approach would be to give the original script, a roman-letter form of the original title, and then an English translation in parentheses.)
- Under "Doctrine" you give the names of two books, but no details about their contents.
- Links to present-day Nurbakshi groups would also be useful, if any of them have websites. Thank you again for starting this article, and I look forward to watching it develop! Best wishes, Dawud (talk) 07:54, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

meagerness of multiple article
[edit]the article Sofia Imamia Noorbakshia should be merge into this article.because both are same subject and there is no need of two articles with same subject.Baltistani (talk) 07:29, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
Lineage and Logic
[edit]The article currently says:
- Noorbakshia Islam claims its lineage through Ali via another Ali.
- "In contrast, most other Sufi paths trace their lineage through Ali."
So where is the contrast? Shouldn't that rather read "Like most other sufi orders/denominations/(...?), N.I. claims a lineage to Imam Ali..."? Or what was the original contributor trying to say that I'm missing here? Is it the connection between the two Alis which is unique to N.I? --BjKa (talk) 15:30, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
