Is there any encyclopedic merit for the link to An article on Mr Fairbairn, the current headmaster, by a former student ? Is the opinion of a former student of the present headmaster when he was at another school relevant to this article? Agree? Disagree? Please say why. Sport[edit]

I have removed the sport details from this article as they are not written in a manner appropriate for wikipedia. Just because something happens at a school, it doesn't mean it should be included. Refer WP:SCH for more information on what should and shouldn't be included in a school article. Sport may be mentioned but should not include long winded commentary on the seasons games and results as it is of little interest to anyone outside the school. Maybe look at Good articles such as Scotch College, Perth and Aquinas College, Perth for examples. Loopla 14:10, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rating[edit]

After a request by User:loopla for a reassessment I have given the article a start rating, down from B. To get to a B class rating there would have to be at least one picture. There could be more about the geography of the shcool - where is it exactly, what is around it, how is the campus laid out, buildings, facilities, sports participation, community events. Also what does "OP" mean? John Burgess's death is repeated unnecessarily. If there can be a broad covereage of the topic then a B is deserved. Graeme Bartlett 00:02, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(Start/low) The structure looks good, but almost everything can be expanded upon. The one sentence sections really need that. "Schools of Excellence," "OP Results" (what is OP, is there a link to it on wikipedia?), "Languages," "Sister Schools" and "Music" all need to be expanded.
