Personal Life

[edit]

There should definetely be a section on Adjutant Chef Travers since, much like Capt. Kay Somersby, she is partly well known as the mistress to a number of highly placed Free French Officers. I am currently reading her memoirs, so I will add a section if there are no objections. If there are, please mark on my Talk page V. Joe 20:41, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've added said parts, since there have been no objections. I did not mention her relationship with Amilikavi, but I may add it.

I agree that there should be a section on her role as a mistress to a number of highly placed Free French Officers. I finished reading her autobiography the other day, and to my astonishment she speaks quite openly about her affairs with Gen. Pierre Koenig and Col. Amilikavi. According to her book, she was also a Knight of the Legion of Honour. 193.170.52.70 21:26, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Post-war

[edit]

I'm certain she was survived by *both* sons. I was talking to her son, Tom just the other day, and I'm sure he said he was going to France to visit his brother (he lives in Hobart, Australia). I'll check with Tom and update if necessary. Ian Cargill (talk) 19:36, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Matriculation

[edit]

I'm not sure what the issue is with the "matriculation" word requiring clarification. It means Susan Travers received a ID number from the French Foreign Legion. According to several sources, this number was 22166.
