[edit]Swadlincote is the best place to live, there may not be much stuff to do in the town itself, but with great links to major UK cities and Burton Upon Trent, there is always something to do. It is a nice looking place with a view to greater things, the local council have major plans for this small town with a large regeneration plan. This small town is thriving! the population is growing fast, with the consequence of lots of housing springing up everywhere you turn. The people of Swadlincote are some of the best people in the world, schools are on the up and more colleges nearby, the future is looking very good. However in recent years there has been a swarm of the new UK resisdents - "The Chavs". Every car park and park is' swarming with them! You can find these "Chavs" in Swad's town centre, in villages turned "Chavillages"! like Newhall and Church Gresley, but with this minor technicality Swadlincote is a nice place to live in general.
And there's emos as well.. they linger around that darned Skate Park. But otherwise it is very nice. The population is getting towards 35,000 if you include the 'suburbs' of Church Gresley, Midway and Newhall, as Burton may count Horninglow or Winshill.
Hey, watch what you're saying about the skate park :( I'm no emo! Steinershocker 21:38, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]There's been quite a bit of vandalism and bad faith edits in the last couple of days, and a bit before that.
