This article is not about swamps[edit]

I deleted the see also links that were not real estate or scam related. This article is not about swamps. It's about real estate scams. There shouldn't be a link to every swampland in the world on it.

  • This article is inescapably about all three: scams, real estate and swamps. You can't separate them. Ikluft (talk) 11:39, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Intrinsic value of the Everglades[edit]

The article mentions the value of wildlife and scenery in the Everglades, and that that is why development is largely prevented. However, development is mainly prevented because Lake Okeechobee drains into the Everglades, and then canals, providing South Florida its main water source. It also prevents flooding in the region. Too much development will ruin the delicate balance that currently exists. - Cyborg Ninja 22:30, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
