[edit]My removal of the POV banner was not meant to suggest that this article is sufficiently neutral. However, POV complaints should be raised on the talk page before the banner is used. Tim Ivorson 8 July 2005 10:32 (UTC)
Teodorín or Teodoro?
[edit]As far as I know Teodorín is an hypocoristic of Teodoro, the latter being his real name. The usage of Teodorín is possibly to emphasise he is the son of Teodoro Obiang (Sr.). Correct me if I am wrong. Regards, E Asterion u talking to me? 15:53, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
- Correct, and changed accordingly to real name. Tazmaniacs (talk)
Prosate cancer
[edit]In this article it says his dad has prostate cancer.but on his dads article it says he dosent.Dose anyone know which is true? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.113.30.42 (talk) 12:42, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
- Not sure if this is relevant, but if it is: petroleumworld.com has an article, stating: "[...]who looked vigorous despite suffering from cancer, for which he is periodically treated at the Mayo Clinic". This isn't mentioned on his dad's article anymore. -- 194.246.123.103 (talk) 19:20, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

Cititation Needed for Coup Attempt Subheading
[edit]RE: "After the attempted coup involving Nick du Toit, Simon Mann and which embroiled Mark Thatcher in March 2004, he threatened to kill his uncle, Armengol Ondo Nguema for his business dealings with du Toit via TRIPLE OPTIONS. Armengol had previously opposed Teodorín's ascension to the presidency. Scattered reports of shots being fired during a meeting appeared in South African newspapers after the incident." What South African papers? Where does this information come from? Please cite or I will remove it.--Ratfinx (talk) 06:35, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
