WikiProject update
[edit]I rewrote this article from the WikiProject Novels novel template. Some of the sections need expanding, and I did not have any information on allusions. Please add.Portia1780 19:58, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
I know this may seem pretty strange, but i was wondering if there is any connection between Therese Raquin (the name) and Therese Levasseur? I rember reading about a possible connection somewhere, as both were seamstresses, and Therese Levasseur was the wife of Rousseau, the founder of the 'noble savage' and so an easy target fo Zola's Irony. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.152.227.56 (talk) 15:37, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
If that article is going to claim this novel was the 1st popularization of the idea, we should mention it here somewhere or remove it there. — LlywelynII 05:13, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
