Article BIASED!!! "THAI SILK" is FAKE SILK!!

[edit]

Someone NEEDS to fix this article, please! "Thai silk" or "100% Thai silk" is FAKE silk!! "Thai silk" implies a blend of silk and rayon or polyester or other synthetic fabrics. A lot of tourists get ripped off in Thailand because this is not disclosed. If you see "100% silk" then it is (or should be, unless the manufacturer is of ill repute) silk. If the label states "100% THAI silk" this means fake silk, or silk plus synthetics or plus rayon which is not disclosed. Here is the source: http://reviews.ebay.com/Silk-and-eBay-Understanding-Synthetic-amp-Genuine-Silks_W0QQugidZ10000000014625265

Also I suggest someone please remove this biased line which is untrue and adds nothing to the already low quality of this article: "Thai silk is considered to be one of the finest fabrics in the world". Considering that Thai silk is cheapo fake silk which can be over 50% polyester, how is that "fine"!? Who died and lowered the standards of "fine fabrics", I'd like to know!? In which universe is petroleum-based, itchy, sweaty, geriatric fabric such as poly considered "fine"?! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.91.24.138 (talk) 21:17, 26 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
