AK Press template
[edit]Is it appropriate that this historical newspaper should have the AK Press template on its page, just because AK re-published it? It takes up a fair amount of the page, but is surely not a very notable aspect of the paper? BobFromBrockley (talk) 12:01, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- I've reset the template so that it doesn't automatically expand, so that might help the undue prominence aspect, but the broader issue is a bit thornier: the general rule is that all articles within the scope of a navigational footer template like {{AK Press}} should be linked from it and should transclude it at the bottom. So I suppose if this norm is upheld the question is whether or not the scope of the template might be a little broad to be useful in all cases. Skomorokh 12:23, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. That's better. I'm not sure on the thornier issue. Seems to be good for, e.g. Ramsey Kanaan but less so for e.g. John Yates, so maybe it's an issue of who is in the template. There are also several AK books, so the list seems a little arbitrary. Are these the most notable? Or somehow especially exemplary of AK? BobFromBrockley (talk) 14:06, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
