How Do You Know This?

[edit]

This information isnt available from the eaglemoss and Marvel staff. Eaglemoss have received no set list and any information regarding the future installments could be false. I have emailed the magazine staff and they have said that they cannot confirm future editions because they do not receive that information from Marvel. (Neostinker 10:40, 22 June 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Confirmed issues

[edit]

the issues you have confirmed are in the wrong order ! (Neostinker 14:54, 1 July 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Neostinker

[edit]

I to thought the issue numbers were wrong, but following photo evidence - and people going 'huh?', I discovered that some parts of the country recieved the characters in a different order to the others. I have edited the article to indicate which issues this affects.

As for your other point re: future installements, Eaglemoss have announced up to Iron Fist (#44) and Medusa. They even have pictures up to Doctor Strange (figure 40). I suspect that the other characters listed are based on the family tree included in the 'Introducing The Classic Marvel Figurine Collection' booklet that was included with the first issue.

Alternate release schedule

[edit]

Good to see someone has been cleaning up the page. Listing the issues as they are listed on the website rather than I had - as "either this or that" is a good idea. It was unfortunate however that in tidying it up, the information on the alternative release order was lost. I have then created a bit just below the main list "Alternative Release Order".

Past Medusa

[edit]
The special models are listed because those are the largest physical models that could be made. Only Colossus has officially been confirmed thus far, but Thanos & one other were included on a ballot asking who the subscribers would like to see made.

[edit]

The last addition to this page today did not make any sense and the link did not even work, so i removed the small text that was added. (Neostinker 21:08, 11 October 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Archangel

[edit]

The figure available to subscribers is not archangel, it is blue angel, he only became archangel when he lost his wings and had them replaced with steel wings! Stop changing it ! The leaflet in the magazine also said you could purchase a blue angel variant. (Neostinker 09:40, 14 October 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Angel took on the codename Archangel following the Inferno incident, at this point he was still blue with metal wings. The metal wings shattered to reveal his mutant wings had grown back. The figurine could be classed as Angel and Archangel as he used both monikers during his blue identity.

Jubilee?

Next five issues

[edit]

They have the next five issues on the site....well, on the coming soon bit....so yeah... They are as follows: Psylock The Vulture Professor Xavier The Leader Carnage

So can they be included in the list at all? 121.72.5.76 20:22, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd be tempted to leave them until they appear with pictures cos they have changed a few times, i think thats when they change the mould or something like that. I recently received a little advert thing in one of mine that basically confirmed Lady Deathstrike and Quicksilver, dont know about anyone else ?? [edit]

I keep entering a link to the site "www.marvelcustoms.co.uk" which keeps being removed. This is a site that has lots of information for fans and sneak previews which are given by the actual editors of both this collection and the DC one so is an invaluable link for collectors and officially approved by the creators of the product in question.

Yes, I've noticed that. Marvel Customs is the main information source for the CMFC with exclusive pictures, news and offical polls. Some people keep removing it because we removed the cheap plug for there forum, but they don't understand that the Marvel Customs board have been offcialized by the Eaglemoss folks !

The link is very spammy--the content it leads to is very commercial and trying to sell stuff. See WP:LINKSPAM and WP:ELNO. I removed the link due to that. Killiondude (talk) 22:48, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why are people still adding a link to the forum linked to the www.marvelcustoms.co.uk website? As above it is against the rule of wikipedia.

I have removed the link for www.superherofigurineforum.com as it contravenes wikipedia's rules.

[edit]

For some reason the official site for the CMFC - www.marvel-figurines.co.uk - keeps getting removed? Seems a bit weird to have a wiki page without a link to the official site. Especially as the resources link their too 77.101.118.64 (talk) 16:11, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Abomination special

[edit]

The official website doesn't show an Abomination Special. Where are you getting the information? 97.120.6.2 (talk) 04:16, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removing specials and variants ?

[edit]

Yes, the specials, variants and double packs are featured twice in this article: in the regular figurines' list and in their own section. It's too much and make the regular list hard to read. I suggest removing them in the regular section. Who agree ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by KidKon (talkcontribs) 16:07, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
