Razor Ramon?

[edit]

I'm taking this one off the list. I remember Razor Ramon's WWF career (when Razor was Scott Hall) and the only guys I remember him walking to the ring with are Ric Flair, Sean Waltman, and Walter Payton - yes, that Walter Payton. When he wrestled, Heenan wasn't managing anymore - Heenan was a broadcast journalist, whatever that is, and part time Ric Flair advisor, or something like that. I propose that Colossal Connection be merged into The Heenan Family. I think that the content in the Colossal Connection article can easily be explained in the context of The Heenan Family, and the The Heenan Family article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Colossal Connection will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. Absolutely not. They are clearly notable on their own, and the current article meets WP:GNG. Trimming it down to one sentence in this article makes no sense. GaryColemanFan (talk) 01:48, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
They formed in Survivor Series and disbanded by WrestleMania. During that time, pretty much all of their exposure was as members of The Heenan Family. It's a no-brainer. They are as notable as a standalone tag team as David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty. Feedback 05:48, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
They are discussed as a team in multiple secondary sources. That makes them notable as a team. The team should have an article. GaryColemanFan (talk) 05:14, 20 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Someone in the afd discussion challenged their longevity, I didn't want to get into that discussion there. owow has them joining forces in April 1989 and cagematch has them wrestling together in May of 1989. I agree that their work wasn't really all that notable, and probably took place because they were two Heenan guys, until they got the push after Survivor Series though. Regardless their work afterwards is notable as a standalone tag team. Longevity is only part of notability. Impact is more important and although their time at the top wasn't exactly long, it was notable. They easily meet the WP:GNG guidelines. With that aside, keep in mind they were one of the top teams for months, wrestled at some pretty important shows, and held the belt for months. As I said before, their accomplishments stand on their own outside of the Heenan Family.LM2000 (talk) 18:09, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in The Heenan Family

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of The Heenan Family's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 05:48, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
