The Hooley Dooleys according to their website were doing live concerts up until 2009. I would imagine that the reason that they never gained much success is because of the Wiggles, — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.176.243.208 (talk) 10:37, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've found a newspaper article describing a performance in July 2009 and have adjusted the content accordingly.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 21:45, 6 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What leads you to the conclusion that The Hooley Dooleys were never as big as The Wiggles? It is ridiculous for you to insinuate that The Wiggles somehow prevented The Hooley Dooleys from gaining commercial success - I mean they had plenty of media exposure via direct-to-video releases and TV appearances and I remember them from my childhood plus some of their songs were performed on Play School, so they were obviously a high-profile act domestically, and let's face it: they were not The Velvet Underground nor The Mothers of Invention, both of whom were acts in the minor league and never gained major commercial success, let alone substantial record sales. The Hooley Dooleys won an ARIA Award for "Pop!", but winning only one ARIA Award doesn't make them unsuccessful.61.69.217.3 (talk) 22:32, 3 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
