Improve "Reception" part discussion

[edit]

17% Audience score on rotten tomatoes. I think that just giving 86% percent critics score (based on 7 Reviews) will give reader false assumptions regarding the real perception by the public, should we do better? Qwnick (talk) 19:07, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Completely agree. I have watched a number of episodes but I couldn't watch anymore. The audience score really reflects the quality of this show and I believe it should be added to the article. 82.197.182.82 (talk) 19:17, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I also agree. I couldn't even make it through the first episode. It came across as a parody/comedy and a slap in the face to its parent show. And, as of this writing, it has not yet been renewed for a second season. 2600:8800:395:B000:E860:1C9C:F84C:9F77 (talk) 08:00, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree as well that mentioning only the critics score would be way too misleading, so I added the audience rating and audience score from Rotten Tomatoes. The current Audience Rating of 18% and an average audience score of 1.7/5 are quite bad, but sometimes, it just is what it is and one has to live with it. --Whisker (talk) 22:47, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
User-generated scores/ratings are considered to be unreliable sources on Wikipedia, please see WP:UGC and MOS:TVRECEPTION. Audience ratings/reviews are allowed only when they are discussed by reliable sources, audience ratings/reviews are not allowed when they are directly from IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes audience ratings/reviews, or Metacritic user scores themselves. — YoungForever(talk) 23:15, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You also need to familiarize with WP:BRD. When you make a bold edit, and that edit is reverted by another editor, the status quo should remain in place while you begin seeking a consensus on the talk page. In other words, you shouldn't make an additional revert to your preferred version while the discussion is occurring. I labeled the revert as a "good faith" edit, because I figured you may not be aware of WP:UCG/MOS:TVRECEPTION. TheDoctorWho (talk) 03:46, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
