Buying a baby video line.

In 2005, Disney bought the Baby Einstein company, anybody forgot about that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by G12onaWiki (talkcontribs) 23:23, 11 January 2017 (UTC)

Proposed template addition

I would like to add Template:Los Angeles Angels owners to the bottom of the main article. I am requesting any/all other editors to please comment so we can reach a consensus on whether the template should be added or not. Charlesaaronthompson (talk) 01:04, 12 June 2017 (UTC)

I think that should link to Talk:Walt Disney Animation Studios § Walt Disney Animation Studios in translation. 142.160.131.202 (talk) 18:33, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

Gross Revenue and Net Income (Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media)

Seeing as Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media is a subsidiary that combines Disney Consumer Products and Disney Interactive, I feel that the Gross Revenue and Net Income tables should reflect this change, as the business of consumer products and video games is currently under one division. Proposed addition to introduction

The Walt Disney Company in its present form is a result of a merger between the original Walt Disney Company based in Burbank, California and the Albany, New York-based Capital Cities Communications in 1996, followed by the subsequent acquisitions of Fox Family Worldwide in 2001, Pixar in 2006, Marvel Entertainment in 2009, and Lucasfilm in 2012. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.188.181.177 (talk) 16:15, 11 May 2017 (UTC)

No it isn't. Disney acquired Capital Cities/ABC, Inc. as a subsidiary company. Capital Cities/ABC, Inc. just had its name changed to Disney–ABC Television Group, there were no reports of corporate mergers and dissolution's of legal entities. I updated the error regarding the information about Capital Cities/ABC, Inc. being dissolved when it was acquired by The Walt Disney Company. Iftekharahmed96 (talk) 21:10, 6 July 2017 (UTC)

Postwar section

Hi there, the films that are listed in this section are not in correct order of release. There is also a couple sentences that can be removed and put into parentheses instead.--Angeedawn (talk) 22:05, 2 October 2017 (UTC)

Add this source to the "citation needed" section regarding the ABC financing of Disneyland [1] Lynnelouise (talk) 18:44, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

Not done: that link only establishes that ABC became a partner of Disney; however, it does not say anything toward sourcing the "citation needed" sentence, which is:

It was the first phase of a long corporate relationship which, although no one could have anticipated it at the time, would culminate four decades later in the Disney company's acquisition of the ABC network, its owned and operated stations, and its numerous cable and publishing ventures.{{Citation needed|date = October 2014}}

Please be more specific if you would like the citation in a different place. Thank you and Happy Holidays!  Paine Ellsworth  put'r there  01:51, 4 December 2017 (UTC)

Disney buying fox, is that going to include things like the Animations side of it things as well Blue Sky Studios 92.232.119.244 (talk) 14:51, 14 December 2017 (UTC)

A lot of articles relating to 21st Century Fox are going to be over-hauled with updates and fixing the format. Iftekharahmed96 (talk) 16:12, 14 December 2017 (UTC)
So ends the saga. No mention of the News of the World scandal or sexual harassment allegations that brought the entire Fox empire to its knees? By costly payouts. Also the U.K. is saying they will have to review parts of this too. Don't know know about the E.U, CaribDigita (talk) 23:30, 14 December 2017 (UTC)
If you want to talk about NOTW then the 'era' ended in 2013 when News corp split into "'new' News corp" and "21st Century Fox". Most of this is ip based so there's nothing really to base a block on.Ryanharmany (talk) 01:04, 15 December 2017 (UTC)

Disney Media Networks

This section seems to be lacking percentages in terms of the statistics at the bottom, as some networks have the share-hold number, while majority do not. Also, besides ESPN and BamTech, none of the other networks have citations next to them, which is confusing to understand where this information has come from. --Angeedawn (talk) 22:09, 2 October 2017 (UTC)

That is true my good sir. Have you noticed the recent stocks have been plummeting through the sky which should be an area for concern. Dr.Om Patel (talk) 15:19, 17 December 2017 (UTC)

They don't need percentages because they are wholly owned. And they dont need citations because they have their own pages.Ryanharmany (talk) 17:55, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
