Influences?

[edit]

Can anyone expand this to talk more about the more abstract stuff, like what influences their sound and so on? Some of Lost in the Dream sounds quite Springsteen to me; is that deliberate? Have they spoken about their style and their influences in interviews? Are there particular artists that they admire or define themselves in comparison to? This article could bear much expansion beyond the more functional content already present. — OwenBlacker (Talk) 10:41, 26 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bob Dylan big time, has anyone written on that?

I was lying in my bed A creature void of form Been so afraid of everything I need a chance to be reborn I never wanted anything that someone had to give I don't live here anymore I went along with you When I think about the old days, babe You're always on my mind I know it ain't like I remember I guess my memories run wild Like when we went to see Bob Dylan We danced to Desolation Row

Patrick Berkery Membership Status?

[edit]

I know Pat is no longer a touring musician with the band, but he has appeared on every studio album since his "departure" listed on former members in the article. Would he be considered a studio member of the band, a frequent collaborator or is his studio role limited to that of a session musician? I am not really sure how best to reflect that in the article.
