Keith Greedor
[edit]Does anyone know the original source of the story about Greedor's drowning? It's mentioned in a couple of of apparently reliable secondary sources (though not the ADB), but bafflingly, I can't find a single reference in Trove that confirms anyone even with the surname Greedor ever existed in Australia. One would think if it was true (and the correct name) there'd be a death notice, a birth notice, a marriage notice, something. The earliest online reference to this claim (and there aren't actually that many) is this NLA newsletter, which credits the story to a historian who doesn't cite his sources. Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit dubious? The Drover's Wife (talk) 12:49, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
