a bit like an ad
[edit]some of the article sounded too much like an ad. I've attempted to tone that down a bit. Also, the claim to being the MOST used ball on tour was not cited. The article still needs much more. I came here originally to find out info on the different lines of irons, but that info is yet to be added. Someone? Anyone? Sonicjimi (talk) 07:53, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
Pronunciation?
[edit]Having just seen an ad, aren't they mistakenly transposing the vowels sounds? Is this a Uranus kind of pronunciation futz? I'd love to know whether Tightliss is the way they've always pronounced it. It seems possible that they are doing an invalid pronunciation for the letters available as well. Pinnacle is not Titleist (and should be removed from this article)
[edit]According to the current Pinnacle web site (see the bottom of the page), "The Pinnacle®, Titleist® and FootJoy® brands together comprise Acushnet Company, which is an operating company of Fortune Brands, Inc." None of the pictured Pinnacle product labels seem to say Titleist anywhere on them. Therefore Pinnacle is not the same thing as Titleist. It is a different brand family, and the discussion of Pinnacle does not appear to belong in this article. Discussion of Pinnacle may belong in an article about Acushnet or an article about Fortune Brands, or in a separate article specific to Pinnacle, but it does not belong in an article about Titleist. —BarrelProof (talk) 18:48, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
