[edit]

Ladies and gentlemen, we'll need this article, and linked from any template relevant, for following reasons:

  • Kiev's main clocktower
  • prominent building on Maidan, with its picture circulated round the planet recently
  • role as the Euromaidan HQ
  • abnormal advertising surface
  • trade unions' murky affairs).

Please develop. Wishes,

Burning

[edit]

What caused the building to be burned down? And is this a different building from this one? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Odessa_clashes#Trade_Unions_House_fire 76.189.141.37 (talk) 15:32, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It is different. This one is in Kyiv, while your link is about Odessa.
The Kyiv building got burned as a result of clashes between policemen and protesters. At the time, Ukrainian sources claimed the building was set afire by policemen on purpose, to leave the protesters without their headquarters. But I am unaware of any official investigation into the causes. --Amakuha (talk) 03:36, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
