Assessment[edit]

I liked reading the article but find it lacking about what happened with Ring of Fire. It says that the group is no longer associated with the school which I understand, but where did the group go? Does it still exist? Is there a web site that the bells are now at? What is the name of the group now that used to be the Bells of Fire associated with the school? To many questions about what happened to this internationally and nationally recognized group that brought lots of attention to the school and Oregon. Assessment by me as START class but could be C class if these questions were answered. C. Williams (talk) 13:23, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My search was only the TVJA term, so I didn't have any hits regarding the group post 2005. Though their website also seems to show the group may have disbanded since their last news info is from 2005, except for a DVD they put out, oddly titled Finale. So I'll have to do some digging to see if I can find anything newer. Aboutmovies (talk) 09:14, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Searching through archives, nothing new for the group since 2005. Non-RS seems to indicate the group may still be together. But my hunch is it no longer exists. Probably too much work for the founder/director Wells to go between Portland Adventist Academy and TVJA. Aboutmovies (talk) 09:39, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
After contacting the founder, the group technically still exists, but no longer performs regularly. Also it seems to be more of an alumni group, and not the 13-17 year old students, so much of the article info would no longer apply to the new group. Of course, I can't cite this, so I can't add it to the article. Hopefully their website will one day be updated to reflect the "bisbanding" of the group. Darn, that is what I was afraid of. Thanks for your excellent research into this. You have to be one of the best wiki guys that I have run across here. Hope to meet you sometime when I am back in Oregon. Happy New Year C. Williams (talk) 14:31, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article is well referenced, especially for a school article. Good job, and welcome to the Adventist WikiProject. Cheers, Colin MacLaurin (talk) 10:10, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Accreditation[edit]

I tried, but couldn't find the source indicating the school is accredited through the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools. I removed it- once a source is found, it can (and should) go back. tedder (talk) 07:21, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
