Any advice for this first time Wikipedia contributor? Tsalaiz89 (talk) 03:45, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
Background Charles H. Tulloch acquired a small ditch and water rights in central California in the 1880’s. The ditch that was originally made by miners for placer gravel. Furthermore, local farmers saw it as a great resource and an opportunity to irrigate their crops. The local farmers widened the ditch, thus irrigating 6,000 acres in Oakdale and South San Joaquin . The Oakdale Irrigation District (OID) and the South San Joaquin Irrigation District (SSJID) paid $650,000 to co-own water rights from Tulloch’s expanded ditch on the Stanislaus River in July of 1910. The two districts received the first license from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to begin the Tulloch Project. It was effective January 1, 1955 through December 31, 2004 . Two years later, the districts received another license on February 28, 2006 that would be effective for forty years and end on January 1, 2046. The Tulloch Project The Tulloch Project consists of the intentions of supplying water and energy to nearby residents. Tri-Dam Project The Donnells, Beardsley and Tulloch projects are located in Tuolumne County on the Middle Fork of the Stanislaus River. OID and SSJID co-developed the “Upper Works” where Donnells and Beardsley are and the “Lower Works” where Tulloch is.

Hi Theresa,
First, I apologize for reviewing your project late because I have been unwell. With that said, I see you have a well balanced summary of the Tulloch history and the resources are reliable too.The background is straight to the point as of why it was built, by whom and who owns it. My suggestion would be expanding on the Tri-dam Project and the association with the Tulloch Dam. The few sentences you have don't have a clear structure about the Tri-dam project.
Over all, I think you're on the right path you just need to research more sub-topics to guide you build a well balanced neutral page about Tulloch Dam. A few topics I can suggest are: recreational purposes, any current criticism like ecological effects due diversion of water for irrigation especially now there is water scarcity, and significance of Tulloch reservoir.
Good luck! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Inoti D (talk • contribs) 22:25, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
Doreen- Thank you for the advice! I have added more to the Tri-Dam Project. I am adding another section that will focus on its current operations. I am finding it easier to work in my sandbox instead of this talk page. Once again, thank you for your input! Tsalaiz89 (talk) 15:17, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
