External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on U.S. Route 7. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20060921003043/http://www.aot.state.vt.us/Planning/Documents/TrafResearch/Publications/2004RouteLogAADTs.pdf to http://www.aot.state.vt.us/Planning/Documents/TrafResearch/Publications/2004RouteLogAADTs.pdf
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Proposed merge with U.S. Route 7 in Connecticut
[edit]Per WP:USRD's informal "three state rule" if a highway goes through three (or fewer) states, any state-detail articles should probably be merged into the main highway article. From a maintenance standpoint, editors would only have to maintain one article. –Fredddie™ 16:14, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- Due to Twinkle not being able to do it automatically, I have placed similar notices on U.S. Route 7 in Massachusetts and U.S. Route 7 in Vermont. –Fredddie™ 16:17, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose for Connecticut. Route 7 in a Connecticut is a road of history. It starts up as an expressway from a major highway, combines for a bit with a major highway, and is the section of the route with the most activity/history. The other states I can see why not but Connecticut should stay its own article AmericanAir88 (talk) 18:50, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
- Support—all of the content of the three articles should fit without being unwieldy. I don't see a need to keep the CT section separate. Imzadi 1979 → 12:34, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
- Support–the RDs are essentially duplicates on this page and each state specific page. Needforspeed888 (talk) 13:15, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose I don't see how merging this is necessaryKieran207 (talk) 13:39, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- It's about maintenance. We currently have four articles about a route that's only 300 miles long. There is precedence with U.S. Route 44, Interstate 91, and Interstate 93. –Fredddie™ 22:41, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
