Merge?

[edit]

Is this really the type of thing that needs its own article? I'm going to tag this as a merge with University of Waterloo.CharacterZero 00:17, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

- If there's a say "School of Computer Science" article, then I feel there should be one for a faculty. Actually as you have have noticed, I'm trying to fill-in all the redlinked stubs so IP uses can edit. I don't know enough about these faculties/schools other than engineering, so I just left the contents at that. --Shion Uzuki 00:57, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi CharacterZero, please have a read through Talk:University of Waterloo/archive1, Talk:University of Waterloo, and the history of the University of Waterloo page, and you will see that we have good reasons for creating articles for each faculty. In short, it's pretty much the only effective way of keeping the main article reasonably tidy without reverts every day. --Qviri (talk) 11:17, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, that's okay. I'd look suspicious at this if I didn't know the circumstances. I'm currently trying to get some science students to expand this, if not, I'll come back and do it myself. So we can we take off the merge tag now? Thanks again for your vigility and understanding. --Qviri (talk) 23:03, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. Hopefully people from different faculties can fill in the details.--Shion Uzuki 01:01, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

- I'll get on this page asap. J —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.229.128.125 (talk) 20:18, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So people keep saying. I think a merge would be a good thing until there are sources for expansion. DoubleBlue (Talk) 16:45, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- I added a bit, and organized it. I am a Physics student here, so I know at least a bit about the faculty. I really think it would be best to keep all the faculties as their own pages. (128.43.175.254 (talk) 18:33, 30 March 2009 (UTC))[reply]

- Added a bit more, but I know more about the Physics department, and don't want it to be biased. If someone that knew more about the other departments could add some things, that would be great. (Einarath (talk) 13:13, 31 March 2009 (UTC))[reply]
