Merger proposal (2022)

[edit]

I propose that Vermont PBS and Vermont Public Radio be merged into a new article titled Vermont Public. The two companies merged last year and adopted their unified branding today (see [1]). Mvcg66b3r (talk) 15:07, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • 'Oppose' merging the articles, both the radio and TV articles should be subtopics of a new Vermont Public article covering the new entity. VPR and VPTV would contain the detailed history of their existences, while VP would start with its creation and only have a light overview of VPR and VPTV prior to VP. -- 64.229.88.43 (talk) 19:23, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Mvcg66b3r you should have left a note at VPR talk page about this proposal, since it also concerns that article. As proposal, it should use the WP:Proposed mergers templates, which would appear on the article pages of both articles. (ie. {{merge|Vermont Public Radio|Vermont PBS|discuss=Talk:Vermont PBS#Merger proposal (2022)}} {{mergeto|Vermont Public|discuss=Talk:Vermont PBS#Merger proposal (2022)}} ) -- 64.229.88.43 (talk) 19:28, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 25 June 2022

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: no consensus. Proposal has no traction, with multiple other commenters skeptical. (closed by non-admin page mover)Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 04:39, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
